Coelenterates
The phylum Coelenterata consists of about 9,000 species of jellyfish, hydras, sea anemones, and corals.
The name coelenterates describes their main characteristic: hollow body cavity. They have very simple tissue organization, with only two layers of cells, external and internal and radial symmetry. Some of the examples are corals and sea anemone which are colonial and hydra and jelly fish which are solitary. But there are several other types!
Research an example of a coelenterate, possibly a colourful one, and say how it has become adapted to survive.
