How colourful can an organism be?
The plant and animal kingdoms are rich with bright colours, from the bright green of photosynthesising plants to the bold black and orange stripes of tigers. Colour plays a multitude of roles in the natural world, used to entice, to camouflage, or to warn other creatures. Colours signal harvest time, breeding conditions, and the change of seasons, from the first greens of spring to the brilliant reds and browns of the fall.
(http://www.webexhibits.org/causesofcolor/7I.html) Write 5 sentences about your favourite coloured living organism. Then go to the page "A colourful diversity of organisms", and on the padlet upload a picture of this living organism. Include the name of the organism, and your name too.
